Why background
checkup is important before you enter into a business contract with your
Chinese partner
In recent years, more and more overseas companies order goods from China. While
most of the transactions go well some of the buyers from overseas
has encountered various problems.
If it’s your first time to deal with a Chinese business partner, I
strongly suggest you do a background check up on your business partner. the
points of the background checkup shall be:
1. Whether the Chinese party is a registered company in China;
2. Whether the Chinese party is a pocket company;
3. The time of establishment of the Chinese company;
4. The scale of the Chinese party;
5. If you get to know them through a website, check whether they also keep
a Chinese language website and whether the website has been registered with the
authority;
Several disputes happened because of the overseas buyer trust the Chinese
partner too much. For the safety of your business you need a Chinese lawyer.
